Job summary

Edmonds School District is seeking a Custodian, Level 1, to keep district buildings clean, orderly and healthful. The role requires physical activity, lifting up to 50 lbs, ladder work, and outdoor duties in all seasons.

The shift is 6.0 hours per day on a 200 day calendar, from 4:00pm to 10:30pm. This continuing, non-exempt position provides SEBB benefits and retirement eligibility through DRS.

Position Information

This position is responsible for performing duties and routine manual labor necessary to keep buildings and facilities in a clean, orderly and healthful condition.

Shift Details

6.0 hours a day; 200 day calendar; shift hours are 4:00pm-10:30pm.

Continuing Position

Employees have reasonable assurance of continued employment to the following school year. However, an employee's total work hours, work locations, and the designated beginning and ending times may vary.

Licenses And Other Requirements

The position requires the physical ability to stand for prolonged periods, walk long distances, bend, stoop and twist frequently, lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, work in confined spaces, work at heights occasionally, use hand tools, reach above shoulder height, and perform work outdoors during all seasons.
