Job summary

Applitrack is seeking part-time custodial staff for multiple school facilities. Positions include 5.5 hours over 4 days and 6 hours on one day per week, with training provided for those new to custodial work.

Responsibilities include cleaning floors, restrooms, restocking supplies, and trash removal. Candidates must hold a valid NJ driver's license and be capable of lifting up to 75 pounds and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Clean floors in classrooms, offices, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain restroom cleanliness.
• Refill paper and soap dispensers as needed.
• Remove trash and assist with custodial duties as assigned.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physical tasks.

Job Duties Expected:

• Cleans floors of classrooms, offices, special rooms, corridors, stairs, entrances, lobbies and cafeteria, as assigned
• Sweeps, dry mops, wet mops, vacuums, floors
• Cleans and disinfects the drinking fountains, bathroom floors, bowls, seats, and urinals in restrooms on a daily basis as assigned
• Fills paper and soap dispensers in assigned areas, as needed
• Removes trash as assigned
• Ability to lift 75 pounds at least 20% of the time; bend, lift, squat, crawl, climb stairs and ladders, shovel snow, stand for long periods of time
• Performs other duties that may be assigned by the Custodial Foreman or Custodial Night Supervisor
• Must have or get black seal license within one year
