Job summary

Gulfshoresal is seeking a custodian to perform cleaning, maintenance, and minor facility care in Irving, TX. Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, waxing, floor care, restroom sanitation, dusting, and window cleaning. You will also prepare meeting spaces and manage light furniture arrangements.

A minimum of six months of custodial experience is required and English communication skills must be sufficient for job performance. Hours may vary and can include evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, wax, strip and Polish floors and carpets.
• Clean and stock restrooms; dust furniture; wash windows, walls, mirrors and ceilings.
• Break down boxes and empty recycling bins; arrange furniture for meetings and events.

Job description

This position is responsible for performing a range of custodial duties related to the care, cleaning and minor maintenance of assigned buildings and facilities. Duties include sweeping, mopping, waxing, stripping and polishing floors and carpets; maintaining inventory of supplies for assigned facility; cleaning, sanitizing and stocking restroom facilities; dusting and polishing furniture; washing windows, walls, mirrors and ceilings; breaking down boxes and emptying recycling bins; and arranging furniture and equipment for meetings and functions. Six months of related custodial experience, and formal or informal education and training which ensures the ability to communicate in English at a level necessary for successful job performance are required. Hours and work location may vary, and schedule may include evenings and weekends. Applicants must submit hours of availability with application. PAY GRADE GG07 / FULL PAY RANGE $15.33 - $21.60 PER HOUR
