Job summary

Gehlen-Catholic-School-1 is seeking a custodian responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all assigned areas within the school. The role involves daily cleaning tasks across classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas, as well as reporting repairs to the Maintenance Director and any personnel issues to the Head Custodian.

The position requires the ability to work in various indoor/outdoor environments and prior building maintenance experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school graduate.
• Ability to work one-on-one with students and staff.
• Ability to work inside and outside in a variety of environments.
• Two to four years of building maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuum cleaning, trash removal, restroom cleaning and disinfecting, window cleaning, floor prep, floor waxing, carpet extraction, and general housekeeping duties.
• Report major repairs needed to the Maintenance Director.
• Report any personnel issues to the Head Custodian.
