Custodian (Night Shift/3rd Shift)

Location: Villanova, PA

Work Schedule: Night (3rd) Shift: 10pm – 6:30am, Monday–Friday (full‑time, 12‑month contract)

Position Summary

Under the moderate direction of a supervisor, performs general cleaning duties within dormitories, offices and other public facilities areas.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Picks up and disposes of trash, including proper handling of recyclable materials.
• Opens, operates, and maintains automated floor‑care equipment (buffers, carpet cleaning, wall washing). Scrubs, strips, seals and/or finish floors.
• Removes snow and ice and cleans or picks up debris such as leaves and paper around entrances, fire exits and building walkways.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to follow written and oral directions.
• Ability to interact positively with students, faculty, administration, co‑workers and supervisors.
• Must be able to climb ladders, bend and reach, lift up to 60 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of custodial or related experience.

Compensation
