Job summary

The YMCA of Indiana County is seeking a dependable Custodian for the night shift to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for members, guests, and staff.

Under the Lead Custodian, you will perform routine custodial and light facility maintenance tasks across YMCA facilities and grounds. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to work independently or with a team, and aligned with the YMCA values.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of facilities and grounds.

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect surfaces.
• Handle waste; empty trash and recycling properly.
• Operate custodial equipment safely (vacuum, scrubbers, buffers, extractors, ladders).
• Set up/tear down rooms for events; move furniture as needed.
• Report maintenance concerns and safety hazards promptly.

Facilities Worker - CustodianPay: $9.00-$10.00/hourJob Type: Part timeSchedule: Night shift, Preferably Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday.Position SummaryThe YMCA of Indiana County is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Custodian to help maintain a clean, safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for our members, participants, guests, and staff. Under the direction of the Lead Custodian, this position performs routine custodial, housekeeping, and light facility maintenance duties throughout the YMCA and surrounding grounds.
