Job summary

Chimes is seeking a Custodian to perform general cleaning and maintenance at our Maryland facilities, Monday through Friday 6:30am–11am, under supervision of the Project Manager and on-site Supervisor.

You will clean offices, restrooms, common areas, windows, and floors; assist with events; report hazards; and follow safety policies. This position is part of the AbilityOne Program, with competitive benefits and career growth opportunities.

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish surfaces
• Empty trash and replenish restroom supplies
• Clean windows, glass, mirrors, walls, elevators, and other building surfaces
• Spot clean carpets and perform floor care as needed
• Assist with furniture setup and breakdown for special events
• Remove snow and ice from walkways (when required)
• Safely use cleaning equipment and supplies
• Report maintenance concerns or safety hazards
• Follow all safety policies and contract requirements

Under the supervision of the Project Manager and on-site Supervisor, the Custodian performs general cleaning and maintenance duties to ensure that assigned facilities remain clean, safe, and well-maintained. Secondary supervision is provided by the Contracts Administrator.
