This position pays up to $10.39-$12.99/Hour (based on experience). A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CUSTODIAN

As a Custodian for the YMCA of Greater Erie, you will keep the building and property clean, well-functioning, and problem free. You will need to have the ability to fix and clean the assigned areas. Custodians are what keep assigned areas clean, up-to-date, and ready for the children, staff, and clients every day. It is more then just collecting trash, mopping, and fixing things, the hard work helps provide a safe, clean, and sanitary facility for all to enjoy.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CUSTODIAN

• At least 18 years of age
• Must be able to complete assigned job duties with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to lift and move items over 50 pounds
• Ability to pass a background check
• Ability to pass a physical
• Ability to acquire appropriate certifications within 90 days
• Love for a community environment

WORK SCHEDULE

The typical schedule for our Custodian position is 15hours per week.

• Monday - Friday
• 2 hours per day - between 7pm and 11:00pm

John E. Horan Garden Apartments - 730 Tacoma Rd, Erie PA 16511

• Monday - Friday
• 3 hours per day - between 7:00pm - 12:00pm
