Job summary

Fortis Native Group is seeking multiple part-time Custodian positions on our Dublin, Georgia contract to provide cleaning services at the Macon USARC. The role entails cleanup, sanitization, and support for events and meetings. A reliable team player with basic custodial experience is preferred.

Fortis Native Group is interviewing for positions of Part-Time Custodian for our contract in Dublin, Georgia This posting is for multiple positions on the current contract providing services to the Macon USARC

CUSTODIAN JOB DUTIES

• Reporting to the Custodian Leadership and performing the assigned duties.


• Clean, sanitize, and maintain bathrooms using specific procedures and products.


• Dust, polish, and wipe furniture.


• Empty and wash garbage bins and deal with recycling procedures when necessary.


• Vacuum flooring throughout facilities using upright or wide area vacuums.


• Help when setting facilities for meetings, events, or classrooms.


• Properly use and maintain power equipment and tools to maintain safety.


• Secure buildings and doors when they are not in use.


• Following instructions regarding chemical use and safety hazards in the workplace.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent


• Minimum 1 year of experience


• Must be able to perform tasks such as moving, carrying and storing items


• Must be able to walk, stand, kneel, reach, etc. as required for cleaning


• Must be able to comprehend and follow instructions
