Job summary

West Michigan Janitorial is hiring a Custodian/Janitor (Day Porter) in Michigan. The role runs from 8:00am to 2:00pm, Monday through Friday, with daily cleaning tasks across school and commercial environments in and around West Michigan.

Ideal candidates need no prior experience; responsibilities include cleaning restrooms, restocking supplies, and maintaining clean, safe spaces. Mileage reimbursement is provided and reliability with transportation is required.

Qualifications

Requirements of Custodian/Janitor (Day Porter):

• No Experience, No Problem!
• Ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach and lift up to 25 pounds
• Ability to use motorized equipment (vacuum, hand operated floor cleaners)
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and safety related materials
• Must have reliable transportation!
• This role does travel between buildings, and mileage reimbursement is included
• Customer facing, must have a positive customer service temperament

Custodians/Janitors have daily exposure to cleaning solutions.

Shift available: 8:00am to 2:00pm (Monday through Friday)
