Job summary

D&W Fine Pack in Fountain Inn, SC, is seeking a Custodian (Janitor) to keep offices and the manufacturing plant clean and orderly, reporting to the Quality Manager. The shift is 7:00 am–7:15 pm (B shift) with rotating 12-hour days and every other weekend off.

You will perform housekeeping, cleaning of facilities, stock sanitation supplies, and support SQF and GMP practices while adhering to safety and company policies. Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate is required.
• janitorial experience is required.
• Willingness to work and follow verbal/written instructions.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Housekeeping of offices and office bathroom facilities.
• Cleaning of employee bathroom facilities.
• Cleaning of canteens.
• Provide/Stock necessary sanitation supplies.
• Housekeeping of outside perimeter of building.
• Take inventory of supplies and create purchase orders for replenishment.
• Support SQF program compliance through required daily paperwork.
• Assists other workers with specific chores as requested.
• Follow plant quality practices including GMPs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We have an immediate opportunity for a Custodian (Janitor). In this function, you will be responsible for keeping the office and manufacturing plant in clean and orderly condition by performing a variety of custodial and janitorial duties. This position reports to the Quality Manager.

Shift Shifts

7:00 am-7:15 pm (B shift). Rotating 12-hour shifts with every other weekend off!

RESPONSIBILITIES

Safety

• Follows plant safety procedures andguidelines
• Know emergency procedures and what to do in the event of power outages, machine failures, workplace injuries, etc.
• Wears and utilizes personal protective equipment (PPE) asrequired
• Informs supervisor of safety issues; reports any workplace injury or incidentimmediately

Task

• Housekeeping of offices and office bathroom facilities
• Cleaning of employee bathroom facilities
• Cleaning of canteens
• Provide/Stock necessary needs for sanitation purposes
• Housekeeping of outside perimeter of building
• Take inventory of supplies and creates purchase order as needed for replenishment
• Support company Food Safety efforts through commitment and compliance to SQF standard practices and policies. Complete daily required paperwork to ensure SQF program compliance.
• Assists other workers with specific chores as requested
• Follow plant quality practices including Good Manufacturing Practices, or GMP’s
• Perform other duties as assigned
