Job summary

Cox Enterprises is seeking a Custodian to provide routine custodial services for an assigned building or grounds, using cleaning supplies and equipment to keep interiors clean and professional.

Responsibilities include following a schedule, maintaining exteriors, potentially using insecticides, assisting with minor repairs, and adhering to health and safety regulations. The role requires the ability to lift 50 pounds, stand, walk, and communicate effectively.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous custodial or groundskeeping experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record required.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Effectively communicate and interact with staff, management and customers.
• Efficiently multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear.
• Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat and climb.
• Medium strength. Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Vision abilities required include close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

• Assists with minor repairs, such as lightbulb replacement, replacing broken switches, fixing door handles or repairing minor leaks.
• Follows all health and safety regulations and policies.
