Job summary

Cox Automotive Inc. seeks a Custodian to provide routine custodial services for assigned buildings and facilities in Manheim, PA. The role includes cleaning, grounds maintenance, and basic repairs, following a preset schedule set by Facilities management.

The position requires ability to lift up to 50 pounds, valid driver’s license, and independent work capability. Compensation includes hourly pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous custodial or groundskeeping experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record required.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Effectively communicate and interact with staff, management and customers.
• Efficiently multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear.
• Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat and climb.
• Medium strength. Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Vision abilities required include close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

• May utilize insecticides to prevent infestation by pests.
• Assists with minor repairs, such as lightbulb replacement, replacing broken switches, fixing door handles or repairing minor leaks.
• Follows all health and safety regulations and policies.

USD 15.10 - 22.69 per hour

Compensation

Hourly pay rate is in the range of $15.10 - $22.69/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

Benefits

Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
