Overview
Buildings and General Services (BGS) at the State of Vermont has an exciting opportunity with room for growth as a BGS Custodian II. The individual will work in the Waterbury Complex performing general cleaning duties, both as part of a team and independently.
This position works Monday through Friday, 12 pm to 8:30 pm. Requirements include a valid driver's license and successful completion of background checks.

This position is eligible for a sign-on and retention bonus of up to $1000, available only to new hires employed as BGS Custodian II in the specified location. Contact the hiring manager for full details.

Environmental Factors
Work involves duties at state-owned or leased buildings, including addressing bloodborne pathogens and working outdoors in all weather. Physical ability to climb ladders and lift up to 50 lbs is required. Overtime and evening work may be necessary.
