The Building Services Department is seeking (1)Custodian II to join the already excellent team taking the Building Services Department to the next level of excellence!
The ideal candidate provides custodial care for Georgia State University facilities. Cleans and performs room set-ups in assigned building areas following established routines and procedures. In addition to supporting the department Custodian I, assignments will generally fall into one of the following groupings, although overlapping of duties may occur as needed:
Employees will use cleaning chemicals daily and sometimes work around potentially dangerous materials in certain laboratories
Anticipated Hiring Range: $32,400 - $38,900. Salary offers will be determined based on the candidate’s qualifications in relation to the Minimum Hiring Standards. Candidates earlier in their careers are typically offered salaries closer to the minimum of the hiring range, while those with more advanced or relevant experience may be considered for compensation at or above the hiring range.
