Job summary

Washington University in St. Louis is seeking a part-time Custodian to support EPO's custodial services across the WashU Medicine Campus. The role involves cleaning, disinfection, waste disposal, and maintenance of floors and surfaces.

Shifts include 2nd and 3rd with hours 5:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.–4:00 a.m., up to 20 hours weekly. A high school diploma is preferred; no specific certification required. No prior experience required; on-site work with safety training provided.

• Washes interior and exterior windows.
• Changes lights utilizing appropriate ladders.

Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Collects and disposes of trash and waste products by taking to appropriate compactor.
• Cleans, disinfects bathrooms, sanitizes telephones, washes desks and cleans lunch/service areas.
• Operates mechanical floor cleaners, vacuums and utilizes mop buckets, wringers, etc.
• Mops, buffs and maintains all floors and dusts/vacuums work areas and offices.
• Washes interior and exterior windows.

• Performs other duties as assigned.
