Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP seeks a Custodian in West Des Moines, IA to maintain cleanliness and sanitation across assigned areas. The role includes janitorial duties, operating cleaning equipment, and following safety protocols in a fast-paced environment.

You will report incidents, support the team, and present a professional appearance. Shifts are Monday–Friday with 6:00am–2:30pm or 1:00pm–10:30pm, and a pay rate of $15.50–$16.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• No specific education requirement; 3–6 months training or experience preferred.
• Experience with cleaning methods and equipment is a plus.
• Forklift certification may be required based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties and cleaning across assigned areas.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment and maintain equipment upkeep.
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor.
• Follow safety rules, procedures and company policies.
• Support shift lead in completing punch-list items.
• Present a professional appearance and conduct; communicate respectfully with team, supervisors, and customers.
