Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Custodian to maintain cleanliness and sanitation across assigned areas. The role involves operating motorized cleaning equipment, adhering to safety protocols, and delivering professional customer service.

Responsibilities include following the daily schedule, assisting the shift lead, and supporting team tasks. Monday–Friday, 1:00pm–9:30pm, pay $13.50–$14.50 per hour; no specific education required, some training or forklift certification may be needed.

Qualifications

• No specific education requirement, 3-6 months training or experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Forklift certified may be required.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule.
• Hazardous Waste responsibilities including collecting, classifying, sorting, storing, shipping and receiving, labeling, cleaning, recycling, packaging of special and hazardous waste.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment.
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area.
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor.
• Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures.
• Stop at risk behavior of others and self.
• Perform work assignments in a team with other employees.
• Maintain clean work area.
• Follow all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules.
• Take direction and respond to supervision.
• Talk with lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customers in a professional manner.
• Fill in during staff shortage.
• Support shift lead in completing punch-list items.
• Use proper personal protective equipment.
