Position Summary:

Responsible for janitorial and custodial duties across university facilities, including Resident Halls.

Essential Functions:

• Clean and sanitize restrooms per health standards.
• Clean surfaces in offices, classrooms, common areas, labs, and meeting rooms.
• Empty waste receptacles and transport waste for disposal.
• Maintain floors: sweep, mop, strip, wax, polish, buff, and apply finishes.
• Vacuum and shampoo carpets and mats.
• Wash windows and glass surfaces as needed.
• Report maintenance or repair needs.
• Order cleaning supplies as needed.
• Clean walkways around buildings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma or G.E.D.
• At least 1 year of custodial experience.

Physical Requirements:

Hiring Range: $20.44/hour. Background checks and disclosures required.
