Job summary

The Academy of Scholars in Decatur, Georgia is hiring for a custodial position. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness and security of buildings, assisting with safety procedures, and performing other assigned duties. Work hours are Monday to Friday, 9:30 am to 6:30 pm, with a starting pay of $18.00 per hour.

In addition to paid holidays, applicants must pass a background check due to the nature of working with children. A comprehensive benefits package is also offered.

Responsibilities

• Perform all activities that are custodial in nature and deemed appropriate by Head Custodian or Administration.
• Keep buildings neat and clean at all times.
• Clean and maintain all assigned workspaces and equipment.
• Assist in building and grounds security by locking all doors and gates after use and at the end of the work day.
• Understand and follow safety procedure.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Work week - Monday - Friday; 9:30am to 6:30pm with an hour lunch; $18.00 an hour.

Paid Holidays with Benefits Package.
