Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Janitor in Georgia to perform all-purpose cleaning and preservation of assigned areas within a building or multiple client sites. The role requires flexibility to meet client specifications and to maintain high cleaning standards.

The position pays $12 per hour with a Monday–Friday schedule from 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM, totaling 35 hours per week. On-the-job training is provided; prior janitorial experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or at least 6 months in a janitorial role.
• On-the-job training will be provided.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to avoid damage.
• Clean, monitor and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas.
• Empty trash and dispose of waste, including use of compactors.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
• Spot clean carpets and assist in carpet extractions and shampooing.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.
• Follow housekeeping schedule.
• Occasionally use heavy cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers and buffers.
• Other duties as assigned by scope of work or client needs
