Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is seeking a part-time Janitor in the Miami area. The role involves performing all-purpose cleaning and basic preservation of assigned areas inside a building or multiple client sites. Flexibility is required to adapt tasks to client specifications.

Shifts include morning and afternoon, with Monday through Sunday availability and weekly pay. A high school diploma or equivalent or six months of janitorial experience is acceptable. On-the-job training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage.
• Clean, monitor and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas.
• Empty trash cans and use of compactors for certain materials.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors with appropriate cleaners and equipment.
• Spot clean carpets; assist in carpet extractions and shampooing.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.
• Follow housekeeping schedule.
• Occasionally use heavy cleaning equipment like floor scrubbers and buffers.
• Perform other duties as assigned by client scope or needs.
