Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is seeking a part-time Janitor to perform all-purpose cleaning and upkeep of assigned building areas and client sites. The role requires flexibility across morning and afternoon shifts, with weekly pay and a starting wage of $15 per hour.

The position emphasizes adherence to cleaning procedures, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions. On-the-job training is provided to support success in diverse facilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or a minimum of six (6) months of janitorial experience.
• On the job training will be provided.
• Attention to detail essential for quality cleaning.
• Ability to follow instructions effectively and work with supervision.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage.
• Clean, monitor and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrances.
• Empty trash cans and dispose of waste.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
• Spot clean carpets and assist with carpet extractions.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.
• Follow established housekeeping schedules.
• Occasionally operate heavy cleaning equipment like floor scrubbers and buffers.
• Perform other duties as assigned by client scope.
