Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Janitor. The role is responsible for performing all-purpose cleaning and preservation of the assigned area inside a building or multiple client sites, with flexibility to adjust tasks per client specifications.

Available schedule: Full Time, Monday - Friday, 12pm - 8:30pm, $15.00 per hour. Diversified Maintenance is an Equal Opportunity Employer, with on-the-job training provided for new hires.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or at least 6 months of janitorial experience.
• On the job training will be provided.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and equipment.
• Clean, monitor and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas.
• Empty trash and manage disposal.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
• Spot clean carpets and assist in carpet care.
• Replenish paper products and supplies.
• Follow housekeeping schedule.
• Operate heavy cleaning equipment as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by client needs.
