Job summary

Applegreen is seeking a Custodian at our Allentown plaza to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for travelers. The role involves cleaning duties across the facility, maintaining a hygienic dining and lobby area, and handling routine cleaning equipment and supplies with attention to safety and guest interaction.

Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors; cleaning restrooms and surfaces; managing trash and recycling; and assisting with general plaza upkeep.

Qualifications

• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Able to lift at least 40 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning tasks throughout the plaza to keep facilities hygienic and presentable.
• Clean toilets, walls, windows, worktables, refrigerators, and other equipment as needed.
• Remove trash and garbage to designated areas.
• Sweep, mop, scrub, and buff floors to maintain a clean lobby and dining area.
• Move supplies between storage and work areas and load/unload supplies as needed.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and security procedures.
