Applegreen (US) Welcome Centers in Jim Thorpe, PA is seeking a Custodian for flexible part-time or full-time work. You will maintain cleanliness across our plaza, assist in providing a welcoming environment for travelers, and ensure a hygienic experience in dining and retail areas.

Responsibilities include cleaning toilets and surfaces, handling waste, mopping floors, stocking supplies, and following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication with the public.
• Ability to stand for long periods and to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes appropriate cleaning chemicals, tools and equipment to complete tasks.
• Cleans toilets, walls, windows, worktables, refrigerators, and other equipment as necessary.
• Removes trash and garbage to designated areas.
• Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and buffs floors.
• Maintains a clean and organized lobby and dining area.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas by hand or hand truck.
• Loads and unloads supply trucks.
• Follows all security, sanitation, and safety procedures established by the Company.
• Interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.
