Job summary

Applegreen USA is seeking a Custodian to maintain a clean and hygienic plaza environment for travelers. You will perform cleaning duties across restrooms, dining areas, and common spaces, using appropriate chemicals and equipment.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 40 pounds, and a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Experience in cash handling and customer service is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic manner.
• Cash handling and customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning tasks using appropriate chemicals, tools and equipment.
• Clean toilets, walls, windows, work tables, refrigerators, and other equipment as necessary.
• Remove trash to designated areas.
• Sweep, mop, scrub, and buff floors thoroughly.
• Maintain a clean and organized lobby and dining area.
• Transfer supplies between storage and work areas by hand or hand truck.
• Load and unload supply trucks.
• Follow security, sanitation, and safety procedures established by the Company.
• Frequently immerse hands in water and chemical solutions.
• Interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.
