• Reports safety concerns to Supervisor; follows university policies; may set up and arrange furniture.
• Subject to environmental conditions and may be designated essential personnel during campus emergencies.

**Job Description Summary**Utilizing excellent customer service and high attention to detail, perform general custodial duties as directed by departmental leadership. \\*This position is not eligible for sponsorship of non-immigrant or immigrant visa status through Wake Forest University. All eligible applicants are encouraged to apply.**Job Description****Essential Functions:*** Upon direction and training from the Team Lead of Custodial Services, following established cleaning procedures and techniques.* Completes duties not limited to sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors; dusting and polishing furniture and woodwork.* Cleans restrooms and replenishes supplies.* Empties and cleans waste and recycling receptacles; picks up paper and trash.* Cleans relight glass, windows, and walls.* Cleans decks, balconies, sidewalks, offices, laundry rooms, and common space areas.* Sets up, moves, and arranges furniture and equipment.* Turns out lights and locks doors and windows, as required.* Maintains custodial areas and equipment so they are clean and presentable.* Unloads supply deliveries and organizes materials as needed.* Launder housekeeping materials as requested by leadership.* Works on special projects and cleans other facilities, as assigned.* Reports all matters of safety to the Supervisor.* Follows all University and departmental policies and procedures.* Performs other duties as assigned by departmental leadership.**Other Functions:*** This position may be designated as essential personnel to support business continuity during campus emergencies, disasters, or other special needs as directed by management.
