USD 232 is seeking a Custodian for the Mize Elementary School in an evening shift, 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm, 1.0 FTE. Starting salary is $16.64/hour and hours may shift to daytime during summer. Benefits are available per district offerings. Requirements include TB testing, physical readiness, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Position available ASAP, with posting current as of 8/6/2026.

Shift Hours: 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm

During the summer the hours may be modified to a day shift.

Position Purpose: Custodian – Evening Shift supports the staff and students of USD 232 by providing a safe, clean, operational, and productive learning environment with a customer service mindset.

Starting Salary: $16.64/hour (commensurate with experience)

Requirements:

• Allemployees must have a current TB test (Tuberculosis). If you've had a recent TB Test (less than 12 months ago) wecan accept a copy of your test results. If it's been more than 1 year ago, you will be required to obtain a new test. Employees are responsible for the cost of the test.
• Must pass standardized strength & agility testing requiring lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Must submit a pre employment physical prior to first day of work.
