Job summary

Unified School District No. 232 seeks a Custodian for the Mize Elementary School Evening Shift (2:30 pm – 11:00 pm). This 1.0 FTE position requires maintaining a safe, clean, and productive learning environment for students and staff.

Starting pay is $16.64 per hour, commensurate with experience, with a comprehensive benefits package. Summer hours may shift to day shift.

Qualifications

• TB test current or recent (≤12 months) with copy acceptable; employee pays test cost.
• Must pass strength and agility testing lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Submit a pre-employment physical prior to first day of work.

Position Purpose:Custodian – Evening Shift supports the staff and students of USD 232 by providing a safe, clean, operational, and productive learning environment with a customer service mindset.
Starting Salary:$16.64/hour (commensurate with experience)

Requirements:
-Allemployees must have a current TB test (Tuberculosis).If you've had a recent TB Test (less than 12 months ago) wecan accept a copy of your test results. If it's been more than 1 year ago, you will be required to obtain a new test. Employees are responsible for the cost of the test.
-Must pass standardized strength & agility testing requiring lifting up to 50 pounds.
-Must submit a pre employment physical prior to first day of work.
