Chesterfield County Public Schools is seeking a dedicated Custodian to perform general cleaning duties across school facilities, including classrooms, hallways, cafeterias, and restrooms. Tasks performed are specific with recurring assignments and are performed under general supervision of Building Operations Supervisor.
May be required to work after hours, weekends and holidays.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms, handle paper files, records, computer and equipment controls, talk and hear. The employee is required to stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl. The employee must frequently lift up to 45 pounds and/or move up to 75 pounds and possess the strength to operate commercial cleaning equipment.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may work near moving mechanical parts and is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. The employee is occasionally exposed to hot or cold conditions and risk of electrical shock. Some work is performed outside. The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
Compensation $31,789.74 - $50,818.21 Hours Per Day 8 Days Per Year 260
