Job summary

Egg Harbor Township Board of Education is seeking a Custodian for the Davenport Complex 2nd shift (3:00 pm – 11:00 pm) to maintain and clean school facilities.

The role reports to the Supervisor of Custodians and Building Principal; requires a High School Diploma, Black Seal Boiler License, and ability to pass background checks and a physical.

Prorated salary ranges from $43,028 to $54,520 with shift differential after 6:00 pm and medical and dental benefits.

Prorated Salary Range of $43,028 (Step 2) to $54,520 (Step 10) based on school experience

Shift Differential after 6:00 pm

Able to lift at least 50 lbs above the waist

Able to raise arms over head to clean

Able to climb ladders

Able to swing arms in order to mop floors

Able to walk up/down stairs

Able to bend at the waist and knees to clean

Able to stand for long periods of time

Able to shovel snow, when necessary

Able to work with school approved cleaning fluids
