Position at SBM Management

SBM Management is looking for a Custodian/CSR to help them shine! We are seeking hardworking, dependable individuals to join our team as our company continues to grow. We have an immediate opening for a custodian who wants to deliver exceptional customer satisfaction. Candidates should have strong customer service skills and the ability to work successfully with others. The CSR works well with co-workers and customers, understands and follows explicit instructions, and can communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Good judgment, the ability to explain work methods, and assist in training others are also important.

Responsibilities

1. Floor care (vacuuming, mopping, carpet spotting)
2. Surface care (dusting, sanitizing, cleaning glass/mirrors/windows, polishing, cleaning blinds and draperies)
3. Waste removal (emptying trash and recycling bins, transporting waste)
4. Light maintenance (replacing bulbs, restocking supplies)
5. Following safety rules, policies, and procedures
6. Responding to supervision and using proper PPE
7. Presenting a professional appearance and conduct
8. Transporting equipment and maintaining cleanliness of areas
9. Assisting with cleaning in between events and restocking supplies

Qualifications

1. Reliable transportation
2. Up to one month of related experience or training, or equivalent education
3. Ability to read simple words and communicate effectively
4. Basic math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing)
5. Knowledge of measurements and units
6. Valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle registration and insurance (if driving)
7. Bilingual skills are a plus but not required

Compensation and Shift

Hourly rate: $19.70-$20.70

Shifts: Monday - Friday, 10:00 am - 7:00 pm or 6:00 am - 3:00 pm
