Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian/Janitor to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in our warehouse and office facilities. This role is essential to creating a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for both employees and visitors.

What You’ll Do

Office Areas

• Clean and disinfect restrooms, break rooms, and kitchen areas
• Empty trash and recycling bins; replace liners as needed
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors and surfaces
• Wipe down desks, tables, and high-touch areas
• Refill supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
  
  

Warehouse Areas

• Sweep and mop warehouse floors; remove debris and spills
• Clean and maintain break areas, restrooms, and locker rooms
• Assist with light exterior maintenance (e.g., water plants)
• Break down boxes and packing supplies
• Maintain cleanliness between aisles and racks of product
• Properly dispose of lighting materials
• Report any safety hazards or maintenance issues to the supervisor
  
  

General

• Use and store cleaning chemicals and equipment safely
• Lock and unlock designated areas as needed
• Assist with occasional setup or breakdown for meetings or events
  
  

Qualifications

• Previous custodial/janitorial experience preferred (warehouse setting a plus)
• General knowledge of maintenance and basic repairs is a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods
• Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and supplies
• Comfortability working on a computer
• Good time management and reliability
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  
  

Work Environment

• Indoor/outdoor work in varying warehouse and office conditions
• May require standing, walking, bending, lifting, and exposure to cleaning agents
