Job summary

Chimes District of Columbia. is seeking a custodial worker to perform a variety of cleaning and building services in public and work space areas, including executive and command areas.

The role requires compliance with policies, proper uniform and hygiene, and the ability to move and lift heavy items. Emergency cleaning and safety procedures are part of daily duties. The position is essential and on-site.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months custodial work experience preferred.
• Custodial training desired.
• Candidates with disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all Agency policies and procedures and follow contract specifications.
• Clean assigned areas in accordance with contract specifications.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms and washable surfaces in public areas.
• Move, arrange, and lift heavy items.
• Attend required meetings and in-service training.
