Job description

The Janitor is an integral part of the Watson Facilities Maintenance team. The Maintenance team works together to ensure the equipment is in good working order and the facilities are kept nice and clean.

The Janitor is responsible for daily, detailed cleaning of our breakrooms and restrooms. They are also responsible for keeping floors clean in the production facility, and transporting waste to compactors using a forklift.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Detailed cleaning of breakrooms and restrooms.
• Emptying waste bins and transporting them to compactor using forklift.
• Using both ride on and walk-behind floor scrubbers.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications

Education

• High School diploma or GED, preferred; not required.

Specialized Knowledge and Experience

• Requires the ability to obtain a forklift license within 30 days.
• Janitorial experience in a manufacturing environment, preferred.

Skills and Abilities

• Requires the interpersonal skills to interact and collaborate with a wide variety of internal personnel.
• Must be able to interact professionally, appropriately, and courteously with customers, co-workers, and other outside parties.
• High level of pride in maintaining clean facilities.
