Job Goal

To ensure all common spaces and athletic facilities on our school sites are cleaned to the District standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Valid Arizona driver’s license
• Satisfactory criminal background check
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, exert 50-60 lbs of force, and perform related physical tasks
• Ability to walk, reach, climb, balance, stoop, or kneel
• Flexibility to work late-night shifts until about 11 pm during the school year
• Ability to operate mechanical and floor cleaning equipment
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions
• Ability to establish and maintain working relations with staff
• Pass a background check and obtain an Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card

Employment Details

• Term: 261 Days; 12 Months
• Compensation: Per QCUSD salary schedule
• Benefits: As per district policy
• Reports to: Director of Building Operations
• Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday
• Classification: Hourly, Non-exempt

Performance Responsibilities

• Clean floors, carpets, fixtures, walls, doors, windows, and furniture
• Empty trash receptacles and report maintenance needs
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Physical Demands & Work Environment

Requires standing, walking, reaching, climbing, stooping, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Reasonable accommodations available. Work may involve exposure to outdoor weather, humidity, and noise levels are usually moderate.
