Position Details

Position: Custodian - 2nd Shift (Full-time w/benefits)

Location: Gayman (Location subject to change)

Available: 2024 / 2025 School Year

Compensation: $19.95 per hour

Hours: Monday - Friday, 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM

Job Description

This role involves various cleaning tasks to maintain a hygienic and safe environment. Responsibilities include collecting and disposing of trash, floor maintenance (sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, spot cleaning), disinfecting lavatory areas, cleaning glass surfaces and mirrors, participating in group cleaning projects, and maintaining furniture and fixtures. Additional duties include assisting with furniture arrangement, snow removal and salting during inclement weather, conducting security checks, and supporting outdoor sporting events. Other duties may be assigned by supervisors or managers.

Requirements

• Ability to operate commercial vacuum cleaners, stripping machines, floor scrubbers, and snow removal equipment (shovel & snow blower).
• Ability to follow procedures for diluting chemicals, applying floor finishes, and handling cleaning chemicals safely.
