The Central Bucks School District is seeking a dedicated 2nd Shift Floating Custodian to maintain cleanliness and safety across district facilities. $19.95 per hour
3:00 PM - 11:30 PM (Secondary) or 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM (Primary)
This role involves various cleaning tasks to maintain a hygienic and safe environment. Responsibilities include collecting and discarding trash, maintaining floors through sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and spot cleaning, and thoroughly disinfecting lavatory areas. Additional duties include cleaning glass surfaces and mirrors, participating in group cleaning projects, maintaining furniture and fixtures, assisting with furniture arrangement, responding to weather conditions by removing snow and salting, performing security checks, and supporting outdoor sporting events. Other duties may be assigned as needed by supervisors or managers.
Ability to operate all types of commercial vacuum cleaners, stripping machines, floor scrubbers, and equipment for snow removal (shovels, snow blowers). Must follow standard procedures for diluting chemicals, applying floor finishes, and using cleaning chemicals.
