Job summary

Bucks County Community College is seeking a dependable Custodian to join our first shift team. This role maintains cleanliness and order across campus buildings, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. Typical duties include cleaning classrooms, offices and bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning windows, and setting up for events.

Overtime is available for large campus functions. Starting hourly rate is $20.69 with a $0.50 upgrade pay.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of related facility housekeeping experience.
• Ability to lift and carry at least 50 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• PA criminal background check, pre-employment physical and drug screening required.

Monday – Friday | 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

Bucks County Community College is seeking a dependable and dedicated Custodian to join our second shift team. This position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order throughout campus buildings, helping to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for students, staff, and visitors. These services include but are not limited to the cleaning of classrooms, offices and bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning windows and setting up for events. Overtime is available for large campus functions needing coverage.

Work Schedule

1st Shift: 6am - 2:30pm (Monday - Friday).

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 – 3 years job-related experience in facility housekeeping procedures.
• Ability to lift and carry at least 50 lbs.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must complete a Pennsylvania criminal background check and pre-employment physical & drug screening.

Pay & Benefits
