The East Stroudsburg Area School District is seeking a full-time custodian to maintain facilities on a 6:30 am to 3:00 pm schedule, Monday through Friday, at a rate of $19.37 per hour.

This position requires prior school custodial or similar experience, ability to move heavy objects, and physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and standing for long periods.

Strong interpersonal skills to interact with students, staff, and parents, and successful interviews with local requirements are required.

This custodian position will be a 40-hour per week (8-hour workday) position that will pay $19.37/hour. Hours are 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

Only those individuals with successful school custodial or other similar work experience will be considered. Applicants must be capable of individually moving heavy objects. Bending, kneeling, stretching, standing, walking for extended periods of time and climbing are required in this position. Applicants must be able to understand written and verbal directions.

Individuals must possess interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, staff, and adults, including parents of children.

Successful interviews and meeting all local requirements are required.
