Job summary

HHS Education Services, LLC (USA) seeks campus custodians to maintain cleanliness at Dallas College - Central. The hourly position offers day/evening/night shifts with a focus on safe, friendly service and adherence to established procedures on campus. Background checks and drug screening are required.

Applicants must be 18+, speak English, and work well in a team. Custodial experience is preferred. Benefits include PTO, medical, dental, 401K, and disability options.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must practice good personal hygiene and be neatly groomed in a uniform.
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment.
• Preferred: Custodial experience (cleaning, housekeeping, environmental services, custodian, janitorial, room attendant, floor care technician).

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned areas of the university campus, including classrooms, common areas, restrooms, cafeterias, and more.
• Follow all cleaning procedures and best practices.
• Provide friendly and kind service to all individuals on campus.
• Perform cleaning, buffing, and bonneting procedures to maintain floors.
• Perform floor stripping and extraction projects as assigned.
• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently.

Physical Requirements

• Standing, walking, squatting, bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching continuously throughout a shift
• Pushing and pulling carts or equipment (over 100 lb.) on tile and carpeted floors continuously throughout a shift
• Must handle chemicals including bleach, wax, and disinfectants
• Must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job
