Job summary

Calvary Christian High School in Florida is seeking an evening-shift custodian to join the HHS housekeeping team, offering full-time opportunities and pay at $15 per hour. Background check, drug screen, and proof of employment eligibility in the U.S. are required.

Responsibilities include cleaning classrooms and campus facilities, adhering to HHS procedures, and providing courteous service to students and staff while supporting floor care and maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must practice good personal hygiene and be neatly groomed in a uniform.
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment.
• Preferred: Custodial experience ( cleaning, housekeeping, environmental services, custodian, janitorial, room attendant, floor care technician )

• Clean assigned areas of the university campus, including classrooms, common areas, restrooms, cafeterias, and more
• Follow all HHS cleaning procedures and best practices
• Provide friendly and kind service to all individuals on campus

• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently

Physical Requirements

• Standing, walking, squatting, bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching continuously throughout a shift
• Pushing and pulling carts or equipment (over 100 lb.) on tile and carpeted floors continuously throughout a shift
• Must handle chemicals including bleach, wax, and disinfectants
• Must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job
