Job summary

Raytheon Missiles & Defense in Tucson, AZ is seeking a custodial professional for onsite work at an external site. Starting wage is $16.83 per hour with union-negotiated terms. The role requires U.S.

citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance and an ATF clearance, plus flexible shifts including overnights. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanrooms and general facilities, sweeping, mopping, and completing assigned housekeeping tasks under a collective bargaining agreement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Shift flexibility including overnight.
• Three months custodial experience (stripping, waxing, polishing floors; carpet care).
• Must pass qualifying and/or practical test.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. secret clearance; U.S. citizenship required for clearance.
• Ability to obtain ATF clearance.

• Sweep, vacuum, dust, wax, polish, mop, scrub and remove trash to maintain housekeeping in office and plant areas.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

• Sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, waxing, polishing, mopping, scrubbing, removing trash, and other duties necessary to maintain good housekeeping in office and plant areas.
• Cleans and maintains clean rooms to government and/or required specifications.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• High School Diploma or Equivalency (GED).
• Must be able to work any designated shift to include overnight.
• Three (3) months custodial experience performing the following custodial work: Stripping, waxing, and polishing floors. Cleaning and care of carpeted areas.
• Must pass qualifying and/or practical test.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. secret clearance prior to the start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
• The ability to obtain and maintain an Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Access (ATF) clearance.

This position is part of a collective bargaining agreement. Wage and work place conditions, including shift times, are subject to this agreement. Individuals hired into this position will be represented by a union. This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance.
