RTX is seeking a dedicated Custodian in Woburn, MA for an onsite 1st shift role from 6:00am to 2:30pm. You will perform a range of cleaning tasks to maintain a clean, sanitized workspace, including sweeping, mopping, waxing, and polishing floors and office furniture.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning of any area as assigned to ensure a clean, sanitized, dust‑free and contamination‑free environment.
• Performs any other custodial/janitorial duties within classification as required or assigned.
• 1st shift: 6:00am-2:30pm in Woburn, MA. This position is an onsite role.
• Working to verbal and written instructions of supervision, to perform a variety of cleaning operations.
• Custodial cleaning duties consist of sweeping, dry and wet mopping, stripping floors to remove dirt, old wax, grease, oil, using cleaning solutions and solvents when necessary.
• Waxes, treats, buffs and polishes floors.
• Cleans and polishes desks and other office furniture.
• Washes, walls, glass partitions, windows, blinds, lights and light reflectors reachable from the ground.
• Cleans and maintains sanitary condition of wash rooms and rest rooms.
• Appropriately disposes of general waste and recycling.
• Moves recycling/compost containers to collecting area.
• Sweeps and cleans outside areas immediately adjacent to outside doors such as sidewalk areas and steps.
• Maintains a clean work area.
• Performs general maintenance and daily housekeeping of workplace, tools and equipment.
• Maintains records, moves materials and follows safety rules in performance of duties.
• Performs other similar duties as required or directed.

• The hourly rate for this role is $20.50.

This position requires a security clearance. The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
