POSITION OVERVIEW:

Cleans and keeps in an orderly condition office working areas and washrooms. Duties involve a combination of the following: Sweeping, mopping or scrubbing, and polishing floors; removing trash, and other refuse; dusting equipment, furniture, or fixtures; polishing metal fixtures or trimmings; providing supplies and minor maintenance services; and cleaning lavatories, showers, and restrooms.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Clean and sanitizerestrooms/bathrooms offices using established practices and procedure.
• Clean, dust, and wipe furniture;sweep, mop, or vacuum floors; empty/clean wastebaskets and trash containers;refill restroom dispensers, etc.
• Follow instructions regarding theuse of chemicals and supplies. Use as directed.
• Move furniture, equipment,supplies and tools on an incidental basis.
• Wash accessible interior and exterior windows.
• Responsible for monitoringinventory, cleaning supplies and paper products, for specific assigned workareas; re-supply when needed.
• Understand and demonstrate theproper use of safety practices & ensure standards are maintained for thedepartment.
• Understand and activelyparticipate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by followingestablished company policies and procedures.
• Accomplishes organization missionby completing related assignments as needed.
