Job Summary

Sojourner Center’s custodian is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and creating a positive first impression of the campus. The role involves ensuring a clean, clutter-free, and well-maintained environment that supports the healing process for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and sex trafficking. The custodian will develop and follow a cleaning schedule for all facilities.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm

Pay Rate

$20.00 per hour

Requirements

• Any combination of education, training, and experience that provides the necessary skills.
• Experience operating specialized cleaning equipment.
• Ability to travel between campus locations using an agency or personal vehicle.
• Minimum age of 21.
• Valid Arizona Driver's License, proof of automobile insurance, and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
• Ability to obtain a Level I Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Physical Factors and Working Conditions

• Exposure to cleaning chemicals/substances.
• Travel between work locations may be required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work on a 6-foot ladder.
