Essential Job Functions

• Comply with all applicable rules, policies, standards and guidelines related to employment with Westminster and its communities.
• Perform daily cleaning, sanitizing, and vacuuming of assigned work areas.
• Remove garbage from assigned work areas, including common areas, and coordinate the removal of biohazard waste with contracted vendors. Move and remove dumpsters, linen carts/tubs, and other carts to designated areas.
• Assist in setting up and disassembling areas for special events, including cleaning before and after events (tables, chairs, podiums, equipment, etc.).
• Collect linen at the end of shifts, including linen shoots and vendor tubs.
• Assist with moving equipment and furniture as needed, including mattresses and beds based on health center needs.
• Clean glass doors and windows in assigned areas.
• Clean equipment according to schedule, such as wheelchairs twice a week.
