Job summary

7Seventy is seeking a dedicated custodian to maintain cleanliness, safety, and appearance of facilities and surrounding grounds in New York. You will work independently to support daily upkeep, minor repairs, and secure building access according to custodial procedures.

Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, trash and recycling, restroom sanitation, equipment maintenance, and reporting hazards. You will also secure entrances and occasionally drive company vehicles for supply pickups, as

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• Experience in custodial, janitorial, or groundskeeping roles preferred.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Comfort with physically demanding work, including squatting, bending, twisting, and kneeling.
• Working knowledge of custodial practices, materials, and techniques.
