Job summary

Job description

Custodian

Professional cleaning experience, knowledge of floor maintenance equipment and safe handling of chemicals is preferred. The position requires heavy lifting, stretching, bending, and working on your feet for long periods. Indoor and outdoor duties are assigned, and shifts may not be standard hours.

New hires with the district are required to attend an orientation.

More than one position per category may become available and applicants may be considered for placement throughout the district based upon appropriate and current Alabama Certification credentials.

Prior to employment, all potential employees must present evidence of a clear status resulting from a (self-pay) background check through the Alabama State Department of Education.
